Did you have a beta/test/review copy? If you paid for it thats cool, but if not...

Wow that sucks, least when the kblinker license or such goes ape shit the links will still work. (nothing worse than losing money over a bug or misunderstanding).

As far as what bb said, I concur if it was beta/review/test copy, I would have actually paid for it if you needed to use it in a production environment (justifies the cry for support).

Yes, I paid for it. ha

And yes i think the works should work for a little while before it shuts down and looks like imma spamming loser with {insert location here} ughghhg

No, I posted a thread in S/B/T as soon as I was made aware of this issue this afternoon, I'm so fucking pissed about it.

Give me an email at support@wpsmarttools.com and it will be resolved in minutes. I stayed home this afternoon and this evening and will be staying up all night to make sure that everyone's sites get resolved.

Just for the record as to what happened... the license server... managed by my order processor... decided to start returning license is invalid for every single license. Not offline (which it would have handled gracefully), not timeout, returning "this license is fraudulent/disabled." Of course, my solution now is to give out copies with no license check; meaning this problem/anything similar will never happen again.

Send me an email and you'll get this resolved immediately. In fact, I'm going to go find your order/email address and send you a fix right now.

Ow, hope you get that mechanism resolved did the processor ever give you a definitive answer as to why it happened, or they still looking into it. (just curious cuz wondering how they would all the sudden do 'invalid' by default).
