This thread is actually eerily silent considering all the smack talk that happened after you guys won the first game.
Guess losing the Gold medal match will do that.
For the record, the U.S. did do a great job but the better team won.
Yea, I was sort of hoping that 070707 would make a reappearance and explain to me why his prediction of Canada failing to medal in hockey didn't quite pan out.
I recall being assured that Canada would not receive Gold, Silver nor Bronze in men's hockey.
That's why you don't publicly make bold statements like that without knowing a little about the game.

They didnt catch any of the bodysurfing though. Was crazy. The lineup for Gretzkeys started at like 11 ...and there already was a 2 hour wait...somethin stupid like that.
Best part was the dude climbing the streetlight and whipping out the flag from his jacket and tying it up.
We had one of those massive flags, took like 6 of us to carry it....man did we ever get attention. Great times.
