So while I have no opinions on the healthcare bill fuck the teachers opinions. They already get healthcare through the state and they see no personal interest in the health benefiting them so of course they're against it. That much is predictable

I won't take it personally. I do want to toss in that I have incredibly expensive, shitty health care provided through my district that I pay through the nose for. It's far cheaper to buy my own insurance, actually, and I have at times rather than using the district insurance. Not sure where you're from, but my state doesn't provide teachers with health care and based on some lunch table discussions, teachers care quite a bit about the plan, but that might be my area versus yours.
