Main event started at 1PM EST due to it being in Dubai, so it's already over. No spoilers, but man, the last two fights were terrible. I didn't catch the prelimbs, but I bet they were more exciting than this.

I can't wait for GSP to fight his next opponent.
 


Agreed, I really thought it'd be amazing with the card they had.

I'm hoping the Shogun V Machida rematch in UFC 113 will be more entertaining.

Damn, I was in Dubai last month. I saw a bunch of couples kiss guess they were lucky. But all Arab countries are backwards anyways.
 
Yeah it was disheartening watching basically all 3/1 last events. Munoz fight was damn good.

I like Silva, but damn Maia was fucked up badly and he could had easily won it no questions asked. Even if you know the technical aspects of fighting, you can't deny it's not bullshit to some extent. It's kinda sad cause he does win with flying colors, but frustrating at the same time. The Gracie fight was terrible and I kinda got sick to my stomach watching that too. I was holding a shit throughout the Gracie fight too, damn me for doing that (wouldn't had missed much).

It just seems like everyone was gas'd due to the heat. I would like to see a Edgar vs Penn rematch though.


I was really looking forward to Silva vs GSP, now I don't know what to think. Since it will basically be the same shit since it's a wrestler vs striker fight. I'm just kind of dumbstruck right now.
 
I knew that fight was going to be gay right after Vitor Belfort dropped out of the Silva fight.
As for Silva acting like a complete jackass, I've never seen anything like it. Maybe the toasty desert sun had something to do with it. This might explains a lot about people from the desert.
Looking forward to Machida vs Shogun 2.
 
BJ Penn won that fight, 30-29 for me.

Anderson is hard to like right now, I hope to god they dont set him up against GSP. No good could come from that. Definitely put him in against the LH or even Heavyweights to get some action out of him. (and dont mention the forrest fight, forrest has huge holes in his game)
 
yea what a horrible card and bj did get robbed. i mean he didn't perform well but he got more/better shots in on edgar. I swear the judges must have just looked at their faces at the end of it. it was dumb that they would let silva headline this, i mean there is no one left for him at middleweight really. after vitor dropped out, they should've thrown him a LHW to fight.
 
I can't wait to see the Edgar/Penn fight. I just can't believe the results. I didn't buy it because the two main events seemed like they would be complete blow-outs!

yeah really, I heard Mia was actually the 3rd on the list to fight silva. They said there was somebody else who was suppose to fight after vitor dropped out but i think he got hurt in training or something I don't remember who it was but no offense to Mia but that guy has no business fighting anderson silva.
