I am using photonvps for my US-based VPS and there is literally never any downtime, I've loaded the server to the hilt with wordpress blogs and the performance is still good, tickets are answered quickly when I have an issue - basically only time I had to submit tickets was my own fault, not knowing how to set a vps up. I'm happy with the price and I've got a cpanel/whm and root access to make life easy.

Wonder if they have an affiliate program? :D
 
Do we get remote desktop access with the windows VPS servers? Can we install or own software and run our own programs?
 
YEah that sucks the 50% is only for the first moth

Then it is the full price...

But anyways got a vps server, let me see what that is all about -- Will report how shitty or not it is

Even though I already have a dedi with OpenVZ/SolusVm on it, I might sign up for an account shortly so that I can test out some backup options.

Your OpenVz accounts, do they have the ability for a client to backup their own container?
 
We can help you backup the OpenVZ container without an issue, but the panel will not be able to take the whole backup for you; this is manual intervention.
 
Half price just for the first month is really suck. If it can keep that price for the whole year will be great. Even it require to pay for 1 year first

Right now i am using burst.net VPS I just pay them 5bucks per month to the reseller. And I have couple with them.

But the problem is the Data Center on the LA is really the lowest ping to Asia

My friend in china do a ping test to my burst.net VPS around 300-330 ping

And ping the Photon VPS is just around 190-230

If you are marketing on the asian market Either you get a VPS in hong KONG or photon is the only choice for you.

The only bad thing is only the price. 1 512mb Photon vps = to 2 burst.net vps

I believe your details were sent to you already. SolusVM works on the backend and allows you to reboot, shutdown, and monitor the stats the VPS without opening a ticket. As of now you're on the older panel so you'll have to open a ticket to get a reboot done if it gets stuck, normally this doesn't occur.

:P from the sound of it, he just wants access to his new VPS he ordered, not if he can reboot it or not. I'm assuming you're using both Xen and OpenVz with the SolusVm UI ?
