I was actually told that on his deathbed he said he wanted to be remembered for the work he did without DJ Premier. I'd get the quote exactly but I can't find it, and no I'm not starting rumors.

Cancer can be a fucking bitch. It's weird when it hits you. I've had an uncle who battled with it for a long time. Just knowing the person sucks. You sometimes feel it's better the person passes away than deal with all the therapies that follow Cancer.

RIP Guru. You'll be sorely missed.
