Attacking IDF soldiers with metal pipes is hardly peaceful. The only person who would even try to make that claim is... a terrorist apologist.
 


With all the resources at their command, they choose to attack a peaceful flotilla with many different nationalities on board, in the middle of the night, with lethal force used and shockingly poor tactical planning.

I find it funny how you hold the Israelis to such a high standard. Your attitude: "Yes those Muslim 'peace' activists acted like rabid animals, but that's to be expected of them so lets just not talk about it and instead criticize the hell out of Israel for not being perfect. You talk about poor tactical planning; they went in with paintball guns, not guns blazing at full automatic. You talk about lethal force; they used their sidearms as a last resort against 'peace' activists who brutally assaulted them with melee weapons with no provocation, just to stage a media spectacle. Sure, Israel isn't perfect and they fucked up a lot of things in this situation, but that doesn't excuse the pathetic behavior of the 'peace' activists.

I never spoke of Muslims specifically and have don't know the breakdown of nationalities or religions of the people on board. This situation could easily of been avoided . If I was in the position of the activists, I would fight back. That's also the same if I was an Israeli soldier under attack. They should not of been put in a position where they would have to use live fire to defend themselves. It would of been possible, with the right plan, to make sure the deck was clear before boarding which is where I guess the majority of casualties happened.

Paintball guns? Right. There may not of been any automatic weapons in use but I'd hazard a guess that the Israeli snipers on the boats/helicopters shot at least a few of the people. If they had expected to be engaging armed "terrorists" on board, why would they go in with just paintball guns?

I fail to believe that some of the best trained soldiers in the world aren't adequated trained in hand to hand combat or disarming melee weapons. That brings us to the fact that they were dropped one by one into a large group of civilians who were obviously angry at them. Yes, they were forced to use live fire but they should not of faced this situation as it was. I class the behaviour of the soldiers pathetic frankly. They are trained for pain, war and fighting yet unleash bullets on people rightly defending their ship.

As for James_clarke I won't bother with you until you stop trolling and have some useful input, I think your Jewland tag spells out your bias.

Ahhh Israel again.... they so badly want do destroy Palestinian nation and take over it's territory... and sure they can, Palestine is very weak now. You think why USA invaded Iraq? What happened with Lebanon? Israel needs more territory it's as simple as that. One day they will put their hands of greed too far and the end of days will become reality.

Trying to break a naval blockade = stupid

Armed resistance to an inspection = very stupid

Attacking naval commandos = DUH!

It’s not rocket surgery, the other ships were boarded and inspected without incidents…
