If Uruguay beat Mexico, they finish top. I think France need to win by like 5 goals to finish 2nd. If they win by 4, it puts them level with Mexico, but Mexico would go through on head to head performance I think. Take a look at group A:

@ Germany match - the referee was retarded. Klose should not have been sent off, and the ref kept stopping the game whenever Serbia were acting over dramatic. When Germany hit the bar in the first half and someone went for the followup with a overhead kick.. he stopped play.. wtf?

I still want Germany to finish top of the group though lol.

That they had a chance okay but we had way more chances, win more 1vs1 etc etc

but well with a ref like that you start getting afraid at every 1vs1 ...

Uruguay and Mexico are not going to go at it. They are gonna play with substitutes and go for a draw. They want to rest up for the knockout stages.

Germany should be fine since they have that 4 goals cushion. Serbia did deserve the win and Germany missed their penalty so they have themselves to blame. Harsh on the yellow though but Klose had been doing too many little fouls before that.

thanks for the explanation. The system is stupid though. Since Mexico beat France they should have the tiebreaker regardless how many goal France score

I think Mexico will go for the win. They'd much rather have someone like S.Korea or Greece in KO's versus Argentina. They don't have anything to lose. With the way France are playing, I can't see them knocking in 5.

Agreed, Serbia did deserve the result, but that was piss poor refereeing. And IMO, Klose should've been warned for what he did, not another yellow.

Second of the group has to face Argentina in the knockout stage so I don't think they will go for a draw..
 
Klose should've known that this ref is a strict one, he jsut got yellow carded, he should be more careful.

Mexico keeps on getting way more opportunities at goal then there opponents , there finally starting to finish.

I really feel they can go all the way to the semifinals.

Anything more would be a stretch by even my Mexican mind.
 
USA were celebrating the 1-1 against England like a victory the other day on ESPN when hyping this Slovenia match.
