Can you guys with those really fancy phones browse the web and check adwords with it? I drop some serious cash on one of those if I knew I could check up on various stats anywhere I was.
 


No, I need to. I'm at the stage now where if I went 24 hours without checking my stats I could lose a serious amount of money.
 
yeah, you could try what I do "never ever leave your chair" but some people have a life.. in which case I wouldn't know what to tell you :|

I don't know that adwords has a mobile access point but it would be way easy to create one with their api to show you what you needed to know.
 
i Had a Treo, it would surf the net fine but when i ran a big report it would just hang there and not load.

i hated the phone and got rid of it after 4 months.
 
i have a treo 700p and yes, it can do basically everything.
(yes it can run javascript)
 
any of the newer pda's that run windows mobile will work with IE

i have a siemens sx66, it's over a year old now, but it's good for checking email on the road (it has wifi & internet- i can use a hotspot or my cingular wireless internet)

I like my motorola Q.
Read the fine print... it may say "UNLIMITED" internet but it really means 5gb. That includes browsing, emailing, etc on your phone + data transfer from laptop when it's tethered to the laptop. ALSO is true for aircards too which sucks since it's broadband in city.

You can get the Q for $99 now and the plan is around $140 a month with insurance, txt msgsing, tax, fees, and 1350 anytime minutes.

I use mine to check the news, directions, and plug into my laptop. With the Q I get 20KB/s on my laptop all the time so it's not slow but not broadband like an aircard either.
 
Surfing the internet using your cell phone is definitely handy when you travelling a lot, but are you guys really able to see things on a small lcd phone screen? Probably you have to use your arrow marks on your cell phone a lot! I never used my cell phone for internet surfing, but to me it looks a little bit annoying. Maybe I am wrong... :)
 
I'm not interested in surfing, just keeping an eye some stats. Hell, even my piece of shit $10 phone can surf the web; its slow as a slug and looks lame. I haven't bothered to try but I am guessing I can't log in to adwords with it.
