Exorcist, Shining, Seven

These are scary movies.

Dunno, PA didn't do it for and neither did the Blair Witch Project. Meh...
 
the exorcist is not scary, it's boring.
the shining has 2 scary parts, the twins in the hallway and the old woman in the bathtub.
seven is not scary in the least, it just has some gross stuff in it.

I thought Seven was pretty damn good. And raised catholic I had the fear of god in me when i was like 9 and saw the Exorcist.

Whether u thought that my examples were scary or not PA doesn't come close...

It's actually an awesome movie. Make sure to get the original ending - not the alternative. Alternative sucks ass.

When I first saw it in theaters I just wanted it to fucking end. I couldn't stand the suspense. Pretty weird since most movies I have no problems with at all.

Girls were literally walking out of the theater two thirds through crying.

the more terrifying shit your character sees the more your heartrate jumps, the screen goes blurry, eventually you can die from it unless you go hide somewhere and calm down.

Don't even start with your rantings on this Grade C horror flick. How is this movie scary? It's so off the wall stupid it's more an artsy fartsy experiment that horror movie.

I agree that Se7en was more gross than scary. Exorcist wasnt boring for me at all, that shit left scars in me brain even today. The Shining scary? Nah. Great, tense film but not terrifyingly scary.

I found Alien/Aliens to be two movies that scared the crap out of me when I saw them in the theaters years ago...
