FAGGY MOVIE! YOU BASTARD!
If you want to see a movie along those lines watch What the bleep do we know..rabbit hole. The secret was complete shit! I saw a whole 45 minutes of it cus the trailer looked crazy. It was all about if you "imagine it, it will become true." I believe in the whole quantum mechanics thing and the laws of entanglement but the uneducated shit they're spewing...no fuckin thanks.
Notice that every speaker on there was an author of some crackpot book? Fuckin douche bags.
Here's the way i see it: If you believe that one car rear ending another will cause that car to bump into the car in front of it, AVOID THIS MOVIE. if you believe one car rear ending another car will cause a chinaman to trip on a crack, you'll love it and should buy the dvd.
I wish I could give you more negative rep. You definitely deserve more.
hey man, just because you don't understand something, doesn't mean you should reject it. You don't understand electricity completely (no one does actually), do you still reject it? (that's straight out of the movie).
the secret is simple: you have a desire (feeling) to get something, you align yourself with it, your mind starts to notice how you can make it happen, you take action based on your thinking that "feels right", you allow time (the larger the desire, the more effort to manifest will be required) and then you get it.
Every thought is a creation. Whether you bitching about the movie or you saying it's great, you will get exactly what you think you deserve or what you believe you will be able to get out of it.
I get examples like yours all the time, the simple fact is you cannot control what others do, but you can control what you do. It's scientifically proven that when you lose control of the car and you focus on where you don't want to go (light pole), that's exactly where you'll go.
I could explain here for hours why the secret works, but the simple problem with it is that people with negative thinking will never be able to grasp it, because they ban it before even trying it.
I watched it about 30 times before I grasped most concepts (there are tons). You watched it for 30 minutes and can judge that it will work or not? What if you read a book on some advanced science for just 30 mins, you think you'll grasp the essence?
