I have just finished reading this great book. Here's its Amazon page:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/What-Would-Machiavelli-Justify-Meanness/dp/0066620112"]Amazon.com: What Would Machiavelli Do? The Ends Justify the Meanness (9780066620114): Stanley Bing: Books[/ame]

Here's some free download links for the PDF version of the book:

Anyone know of any other books that are similar? Being a ball-breaker, ass-kicker and general hard-ass i.e. a real man?

Added to my list. I like "life changers", although part of me would hope this one doesn't become one.

Currently, reading this:

Freaking amazing. I love NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming - A renegade branch of psychology that studies the science of change and how to "reprogram your brain")... should never have stopped playing with it years ago. This book is awesome so far - a great re-introduction for me.

Just finished it today and probably should have read it earlier. It's very challenging to me even though I happen to know a bit about Machiavelli's work. Living by these rules is liberating and quite scary at the same time, but maybe that's the only way to really hit it big.
Will probably read it again.

I just read it too - thanks for the dl link.

And now I'm gonna hunt down and kill all you mofo's so I can corner the internets market for myself... 'cause that what Mach would do.
