Hi guys,

I lost my 4 year old Paypal account. They just limited it forever :(. I called them up and asked if I can create new one then one of their low level support member said that yep I can create but then again I called and talked with a higher level staff and he said NO I can't and If I make a new they ll gonna limit it again.

Now here I'm asking what is your experience with 2nd paypal? I can make new paypal and add different bank/ card to it but same address.. will it work? or they ll catch me and limit me again.

any help will be much appreciated. I desperately need a legit paypal account.

I wouldn't sign up with the same address - go open a PO Box.

I have 3 PayPal accounts, all with different credit card numbers, bank accounts, and PO boxes. Had them all for 4+ years no incident. I use the same name on all of them but I never access any of them from the same IP.

Thanks for your reply but I can't get different address as I have only 1 house. What if they asked me to verify accounts and upload the docs again?

No one cares. Not even at PayPal. If you get flagged suspicious, you might get your second account closed, but just spell your name funny or something, the bank won't care either.

YMMV, IANAL.

Just use the address of a family member that you can trust with your soul. Or open up a PO Box like someone previously stated.

Change your name. You don't have to totally change it, but add a middle name or take it away or something. That worked for me several years ago. All other info was the same (email was obviously different).

I got a bunch of hosting customers using my paypal - but I'm just about done with them putting a reserve on everything. Need to just setup a secure landing page to capture the cc then run them manually through a virtual terminal (with recurring).
I have had several paypals always results in the same holds for businesses. Well.... for me anyway. Haven't had a chargeback in years and years.

Never had a hold on hosting payments, but then again we usually don't accept paypal or other payments from a signup that trigger a high enough fraud alert in WHMCS. Could be you're getting signups from all the wrong kind of people :p (or yourself have been reported so many times)

Btw far as paypal accounts, I've had 3, basically each time I just had to change email and bank/card info. So on my third account which I've kept fine thus far I just have a new bank account # and an just simply used a new email alias even if it matches the domain of the old account. And I have another bank account available in case something happens again. Paypal can be such a bitch though, its usually not even worth fighting anymore.

Great.. your post motivated me.. New bank account is not a problem for me as I have 6 diff bank accounts and 4 cards. I was just wondering if they track me via IP.

however I have a dynamic IP 127.198.XXX.XXX but some guys says they are not fools they ll track based on my previous activities and also they can track from previous IP Hostory.

How you lost your 2nd paypal account? could you focus on that as you said you have 3rd one. and if you lost your 2nd one bcz they caught you having multiple accounts?

I never lost a paypal account because of having another one (especially if one was personal and the other is a "business" account they don't say anything even if they knew). My first one was simply closed because someone who paid a guy, who paid the next guy who paid me, was suspected of fraudulent funds, so paypal oddly did a charge back on everyone (not sure how 400$ of fraudulent funds, turns into everyone who wais paid by the guy owed paypal 400+ especially since I had already withdrawn the funds), anywho several months of fighting it I just switched over to another paypal account using my gmail addy.

My second one still exists, but it had more than a few slaps from ebay due to my wife not paying for things on ebay on time, so I just created my own paypal account, strictly mine, strictly in my business name. Course I can't ever verify with my social security number because thats tied to my first account, however if I use my bank account, plus the debit card from the same account, I'm verified just fine.
