On the firing line
Links.com

The thread starter allegedly owns the domain name "Links.com". He wants to develop it into some shitty little site. No kidding, he rejects one poster saying that he would like to start small.

Also, allegedly, he is the original owner of it, and reg'd it back in 1998. He's getting offers of $100,000 (indirectly) in the thread, and is saying he's not interested because he wants to build some shitty little site.

WTF!!!!

I could understand saying your keeping a domain like that if you had some money and grand plans, but to keep it so that you could experiment and learn, and turning down $100,000 offers?!?! Personally, I think that he could probably get a LOT more than $100K, so I am completely baffled. If I had a domain like that and some shitty site, and was informed that it was worth a mint, you bet your ass I'm selling!!

Oh well, that's the end of my daily rant...

if these other DP's did not suck his dick and tell him how good it is i swear to god I would have gone in there and conned the shit out of him for that domain, and ive done it before for valuable domains from noobs (i.e. called them through their whois etc but usually people on webmaster forums are 1% aware of valuabilities)

what a fucking moron

makes me feel bad reading the thread cause i feel like i coulda pounced on that shit

LMAO, I can almost hear the phone call now!

You Nigga! You be sellin dat motha Fuggin Domain? (no sir not interested), well listen my nigga Ies gots 300 strong I be droppin on dat bitch, so what be up my nigga?

HA HA HA!!!!!!

I think he is smarter then you think. I agree with the other poster, he is doing a little buz so he can start some kind of a bidding war. If i was him, i would not sell this domain now, just wait some years, so it can raise in value. How about if the big payers like Yahoo, Google or Microsoft decides to by this domain, you never know.

oooh, nigga's bank statement's got the digits, are those digits before or after the decimal point?

Chris maybe you havent been reading sitemakers posts, its clear he is a multi millionaire (or multi-wiggeraire) they are a rare species but they do exist, apparently by selling domains and never giving them up
