$68 an ounce? FUCKKKKK idk if thats worth slinging it anymore.
And to think i was seriously considering investing some $$$ in
a business involving medical pot.

maybe some political upheaval is in order... a political party in california to rally against the weed tax... something like the California Pot Party. I think it could catch on, we could have a bunch of people meet and burn one and protest and shit.
 


$68 to grow the pot, $332 to go towards expanding education, healthcare, or the military. I am 110% alright with that.
 
The input variables make sense but the concept of measuring cannabis prices like wheat or sugar is ultimately flawed. Cannabis is not a fungible good. Using these same metrics, all wine would be $3/bottle and swiss chocolate would be $0.74 per bar but we know that isn't the case.

There is undoubtedly going to be money for the large scale producers who can bring product to the market for cheap, but there is also going to be big money for those who can establish a luxury or connoisseur's brand. This is an industry ripe for a land rush of marketing. Who is going to be the cannabis Dom Perignon in 50 years?

Marijuana can not be grown at a high quality in a commercial factory.

The personal attention and love the plant needs to produce at its best can only be done by someone who actually gives a shit.

if it could be done BC herb wouldnt be what it is....

I think it's up for the debate the optimal price to make it to optimize profit and minimize the black market. Some people will always go for the cheapest regardless of legality, but others won't. One example related to affiliate marketing is how myspace had their min bid set at .25 for a long time and a lot of people thought that was dumb, but I think they made more money overall at least for awhile because of the artificial cap.

Just because BC Herd is a complete fail doesn't mean much.

Top grade cannabis can and already is being grown on a large scale for much less then most people would think here in California. The main 3 costs are: energy, expenses that have to do with keeping the grow concealed and paying way to much for grunt labor because of the legalities. Besides designing the set up to start with there are no special skills it takes to grow cannabis.

Even with these expenses some of the best pot in the world is being grown here in California for less then $800 per pound wholesale cost. There are many people ready to scale up at the first legal chance they get.
 
I used to own Golden State Collective and Valley Patients in los angeles.

I know the reality's of the market not what you assume.

High Grade OG kush has way many to many variables to ever be grown in a large,large,large scale properly.

I actually walked through one of the first legal large scale operations in SF ran by Stephani Landa and I witnessed first hand how poorly that strain will produce when grown at huge levels.

I guess the debate lies more in factory farms vs Farmers Market style vegetable grows.

I would assume your one of the kids running around with a REC thinking he knows it all because he paid 60 bucks a 1.8th for years from the shops then met a random dude who had family in the emerald triangle and started getting oz's of purps and bubah for 200 a zip and now suddenly knows it all....

That's fantastic guy, I've seen your other posts so I know what claims you've made. Remember I called you out on your BS before? Do you have an "ounce" of proof to back up any claims you make? Besides a picture holding up a few pound bags of course. Because based on what you've said here and in other threads it's pretty obvious you are simply one of the many posers.

It's laughable to hear you telling me about how much you know about growing OG Kush. You've quite obviously never been on the growing side because it's really all just a myth about how hard it is to grow. Indoor systems can be pretty much 100% automated from the start of flowering to harvest besides trimming that must be done so you get as much yield as possible and just making sure nothing gets fucked up.

So you opened a dime a dozen place and couldn't make it work because you couldn't buy the cannabis cheap enough I'm guessing?

I guess that explains why you are determined to believe high quality is so expensive, because that's what all your suppliers told you and you never found out different.

FYI of course the growers are going to tell you how hard it is to grow and can't be cheaper.

100% automated indoor system = no attention to the plants = shitty plants. every individual plant needs love an attention or theyre not gonna turn out good.. I know that first hand.

OG Kush isn't even an epic strain anymore... so that "high grade OG kush" quote made me laugh.
 
lol Jimmy B was my partner and the reason I got the fuck away from that business.

We had never smoked in his life before we opened those shops - but I needed someone with some credit and some real estate connections to make it all work.

I never paid above 4400 for anything and always wanted to cap our shops at 45.

This is what ultimately led to me leaving and the prices at both locations to rise above 75 a 1.8th.

the fucking weasel was pushing wet og at 40 a g at one point.
