I have decided to take my tastebuds on a journey to find the most radical root beer. Im growing tired of coca-cola and DP. I have always liked rootbeer so now Im looking for the best.

Today I had a FROSTIE root beer with my samich. It had a really nice finish and satisfying taste. A bit syrupy/sweet but good nonetheless. Im not interested in A&W and Barq's - those both suck donkey nuts.

Suggest brands that you dont often see in the mini-mart.
Looking for smaller beverage companies.

-Pirate Bay

etc.



So, rootbeer drinkers - What say you?

It's good and easy to find around here. In fact, it's pretty hard to find any root beer that's made with real sugar anymore (around here anyway).

Yup - you can thank the wonderful agricultural subsidies for filling your sweet stuff full of HFCS.

Also - pointless fact: The main ingredient in (authentic) root beer is also the main ingredient in Ecstasy.
 
Sprecher and Henry Weinhard's are really good in my opinion.

I buy a case of Goose Island from Costco sometimes. I think it is good for around 50 cents per bottle. Not as good as the 2 above though.
 
I will sometimes grab on of these from the deli with lunch when I have that hankering for something different. Real sugar in these...

Though if you want an intense flavor try this. Little much for me though to have with lunch, maybe an after lunch root beer right here.

2nd (or 7th'd, whatevs)

my grandparents used to keep their fridge loaded with this stuff. had a bottle for the first time in 2 decades (starting to see it distributed in my area in nostalgic bottles) and my god was it a refreshing taste.

thomas kemper makes an amazing root beer, also. theyre local but im sure theyre nationwide.

Word, I did see a picture with you associated with that logo (that was posted in the long ago).
When I looked up the logo today for some reason your mug popped in my head.

Sweet, yeah, but it was also the taste of Ginger root that turned me off.
It wasn't bad though. Like i said, intense. Shit got me high :rasta:
