Jonathan Volk Interview - My Shameless Self Promotion

Sweet looking forward to this one finally he's interviewing some legit folks who are not gurus

we should try and meet up in the next few months, I'm down in Pacific Beach. There's going to be an assortment of guys around in September if you're interested, I think we should go get wrecked at Stone Brewery and start yelling about link spam. Yeah?

Holy hell, I got wrecked at Stone Brewery when I visited a few weeks back. Drove from SD to Carlsbad to stay a few nights and that was the first place he took us in his area.:bowdown:

Also - Buffalo Rib Eye is to DIEEEEEEEE for.

^^ Easy to get wrecked out there if you don't pace yourself. A few Oaked Arrogant Bastards and you're mumblin and stumblin all over the garden area. I've only eaten out there a couple of times. Menu is a bit strange, but the Buffalo burger was pretty good.

Congrats brother. Great interview. Here's to your continued success.

We definitely see eye to eye on priorities and what matters.

Sounds real, honest, and to the point. Just the way it should be.
Good job.

I have a similar story, but will keep my info private after the Moe B incident. Never know.

Thanks. Oh, and I just shaved the goatee, but now you can see my double chin so I think I better grow it back quick.

4 handicap? DAYAM!

Uh, oh that was a typo. I'm really a 14. Anyone wanna play for some $$.

Never met you guys but I'd be down. I just gave notice to my day job company and am about to be full-time (this is my first time mentioning it here - be ready for tits explosion on Sept 1). Always down for drinking a dozen+ beers. I'm in the South Bay of LA

good read efeezy, I became a fan of yours awhile ago when you were talking about quitting the day job and using adsense as a sound way to do monetization since I do some similar stuff as you talked about in the article, very different niche though.

Congrats. Feels good, but a little nervous at the same time. Working from home will take you a bit to get used to, but you'll find your own schedule pretty quickly.

Great interview Christian. You've been happy to help me out in the past so it was good to learn a little more about the man behind the PM's.

Thanks. I've worked from home for nearly 4 years (technical field sales), but now IM is making nearly the same amount on an admittedly half-ass effort. So it's time to go.

I must say, I am walking a bit taller already. I am excited and sure I'll make plenty of disastrous mistakes.

Anyway, this is your thread. Your interview was very good -- we share MANY of the same philosophies but I'm nowhere near the gaming niche or as diverse as you.

Good interview. Funny, I thought your real name was something else entirely.

If you want a model to follow for making enough money to get out of a dayjob, I think Feezy's is about as close to perfect as you can get.

Im down if you guys put a brewery meetup together- im in South OC-
