Mark Hurd couldn't resist those tits

"I was surprised and saddened that Mark Hurd lost his job over this. That was never my intention."
"Mark and I never had an affair or intimate sexual relationship. I first met Mark in 2007 when I interviewed for a contractor job at the company."
"At HP, I was under contract to work at high-level customer and executive summit events held around the country and abroad. I prepared for those events, worked very hard and enjoyed working for HP."
"I have resolved my claim with Mark privately, without litigation, and I do not intend to comment on it further."
"I wish Mark, his family and HP the best."
Ms. Allred added:
"My client is a single mom focused on raising her young son. She has a degree in Political Science from Texas Tech and was recently the vice president of a commercial real estate company. She formerly worked on the House Select Committee on Narcotics Abuse and Control. She has also been a successful salesperson for a Fortune 500 company and has been in various television shows and films, some of which were R-rated when she was in her 30's. Most recently, Jodie was one of the stars in an NBC television show called "Age of Love." Our office does not plan to have any further comment."

I hope she got paid well, because she is done as far as contracting to large businesses goes and she is too old to star in those cheesy soft core movies that she used to do. People may be laughing at Mark Hurd right now, but when you double the value of a company as large as HP in 5 years there is a pretty good chance that you will land on your feet and be just fine.

I'm sure he can find another job easily (ie: something without so much a need for public face), or even retire (though harder for people with plenty of income to retire cuz its harder to cut down on their rate of spending).

But like you said, he doubled the value of a company in under a decade, I don't exactly think he has any issues managing money (besides spending it on hot contractors from the company's expense :P)

Obviously this is big news here in the SF Bay Area.

Real question from news analysis I've seen is:

This guy made $25-$40 million dollars per year, past couple of years. If he had some sort of an affair, why would he submit false expense reports (what the HP board officially canned him for), instead of just eating some of the expenses himself to keep it on the down low?

Seems odd. Must be a smart guy.
