I've found in my sales job that the customers REALLY like good follow-ups after my live sales visits. I sold some very high-tech stuff, and never had every answer. I'd e-mail a follow-up as soon as I got the answers from corporate.
If the customer cared, they'd read it all and click my links.
Last fall, a customer responded to an old ass 2007 e-mail follow-up I sent him. It turned into one of the biggest opportunities (which I won) I've had -- and I got recognition send to the entire company. I love e-mail follow-ups.
Don't worry about me stealing your niche. I'm going into IM to get AWAY from phones. All the power to you. I prefer to preserve my "social battery" for the ladies - only so much talking I can do in a day.

I have it set up to email follow up. The emails look personal. Used Gmail's SMTP for that.
My method isn't that, but I'm going to use it tomorrow. Also, I don't think the competition can touch me. The quality, my sales pitch... One of the leads asked me what makes me different, when I told him... Done.

Great job, I have a strong sales backround and while I have no idea what your script is, I am sure you have been able to create a sense of urgency with your customers which is vital. The best way I have made sales in the past is to make the prospect feel like if he/she doesn't get this right away the competetion is. Also creating value is key, combine those two and we see why you scored big on your first day.
