I read on a few forums that people Stopped to advertise on POF because of this issue. Some had Great success for months until the product Launch of Traffic Dojo system that came out this last May 2010. According to them, His system is the main responsible issue why this Traffic source doesnt convert anymore.

You also have over 90 millions visitors but only 160,000 users online per day in average.

When you have over 10 affiliates promoting the same Offer and Same Landing page, you have to GTFO of there quick before you start spending All your profit.
 


Just wait for a while and everyone will jump off pof and on the new trend as soon as a guru releases another pile of shit. Shiny, shiny guru crap is both the pain and the saviour.

Thats true! And there's TONS of Other freakin Niches to attack that worth more than BILLIONS of Dollars. Why don't they do that? SMFH

It happens everywhere but at least we're charging by CPM so 20 clicks/1000 impressions means you've wasted, what? $0.01? $0.02? Whereas if this was CPC, it'd be a whole lot worse.

If you're finding your niche is being too saturated, try another niche or another country.
 
Is it just me or do approval times this week are sooo long...I used to be able to get my ads approved by 2pm(Montreal here)...and now rarely before 5-6pm! That's long enough to make me lose money i would have done between 2-6...and i'm even sending them to approval the night before to be sure they're approved on time! This sucks:(
 
Yea I noticed ads don't get approved until the late afternoon now. But once the afternoon hits you can submit new ads and get them approved rather quickly.
 
There have been a few posts on popular AM blogs about POF so a lot of new people have started advertising, causing a backlog I imagine.
 
Canadian taxes went through a change as of Jul1st. Now both of our taxes are combined into one hst tax instead of gst/pst. Not sure you'll be able to get around that.

really...Cause that for me doesn't work either...I often try and reclick the submit button of my pending ads and they still wont get approved faster...Today i waited until 5h30ish to have them finally approved.

Be great if you could target users based on the profile they are looking at. Like if a guy was looking at a picture of a blond girl. I could create ads geared towards guys who like blonds.

Ads would be killer if you could find out exactly what a person was looking for :) Unfortunately, no can do on this one.
