I always kind of felt like if you were going to push an affiliate product, you should leave the adsense off. Am I off base on this? Assuming you don't overload pages with adsense do you think this would be a big enough turn off to send visitors away?

Whatre your favorite sites in terms of design and usability. I think digg has a great design - say what you will about the process and getting to the front page - they are one of the few sites Ive seen that really integrates AJAX well.

How do you determine shipping? I notice a lot of times on ebay where there will be a pretty good price, but shipping is way too much, and its not a sliding scale. Do you use a sliding scale and calculate on the fly, or just run a flat fee?
