I read in one of CCarter's posts that having a local server goes a long way in improving page load speed. Say, i have 2 similar sites, one on shared hosting with servers in my locale (EAST AFRIQUE), vs the other in UK on a 1gb RAM, 2.4 Ghz VPS. Which will be faster?
