1000 years From Now... Will They Remember?

A job? Lol

Good luck bro. Keep stacking paper and banging bitches(or dudes if you like)

I like you but I'm not so sure about this whole indentation thing going on. If it's a troll, it's effective, those 100 px's or so ruffles my feathers. Why though? This has to be some sort of subconscious thing going on.. It might be because of the 13+ years of conformity training I underwent at the public indoctrination center.

False. In the next 50 years we'll be able to download all of our thoughts onto a floppy. So if you want to truly be remembered forever I suggest you befriend the under 20's.

Seriously though, I can't tell you all how life affirming it is to read threads like this.

Inb4 "I've made a huge mistake"

Moving from one company you started to another you started is more like spending the day with one of your kids and doing a daddy/daughter outing the next day with another one. Both are different, you love them both, but sometimes one just needs more of your attention than the other. In time you may find yourself back to advising both and nursing a newborn.

1000 years is a long time for personal legacies; anything I contribute that survives will be ideas, concepts, and theories. The only companies that measure their age in so many years wear funny hats and make you say 12 Hail Marys...want immortality? Claim to be the gateway to it.

perspective shifts of time and size are something i practice almost daily. time & size decimate all. in the face of the timeline of eternity and the size of the universe, nothing matters. it reduces us all to ants that survive for a blip.

whatever dramas i have, i imagine the same scenario unfolding in the colony of ants i just stepped on as i walked my dog. i imagine the squabbles that went on between neanderthals. its all the same shit. my focus on the minutia doesn't make any of it more important.

i'm here. i'm 1 nanosecond from death in the big scheme. nothing i could possibly do would make me or anyone else relevant in the grand scope, so do whatever & enjoy the brief ride.

it helps me not get upset that they forgot the extra sauce on my pizza.

Seriously, good luck. Move on, and build an even better company so that you can leave it someday as well.

I get that you're shifting focus from one company to another, but honestly this read more like a suicide note to me.

And maybe I missed the memo, but what is with the indentation again?

Is it some type of existential statement about nonconformity?
