lol I know someone that scammed 2.5 Grand off of eBay last week and withdrew the money before closing his account with PayPal and his fake bank account!!

It isn't seasonal, it's just that the SEO ranking jumped up recently. And it's for a common niche of products.

And m0rtal, can you PM me again? My inbox was full...

2.5 grand from eBay or from some poor fuckers that were using eBay?

If he was selling shit he didn't own or something then he's a fucking cunt and deserves what he gets (be that legal or karmic justice). Some fucker did that to me last year and eBay were fuckin useless. Now I've got to go to the police to track him down so I can put in a claim at the small claims court... hoping the bank checked his id docs properly and it wasn't a fake passport or something.

If he actually ripped-off eBay some how that's different, they'd be insured for losses etc.. but how would you do that? I'm guessing it wasn't eBay he ripped off.

If your friend stole that cash from other eBay users then I hope he slipped up somewhere.. forgot to use a proxy one time (or used one that will hand over logs) or something and I hope one of his victims won't just let it go.

I disagree. There's absolutely no such thing as victimless crime.

Well, I disagree with that slightly (who is the victim when I smoke a joint or jaywalk across an empty street?) but that's due to a few stupid laws. You do have a good point.

I'm not saying ripping off a company is victimless, I'm sure the small guys pay the price in higher fees from eBay or from their insurers. I'm just saying it is different from ripping off unsuspecting people who most likely aren't insured, and may have lost what to them is a lot of money, to eBay it's a few minutes profit.

He told me that he just put up a ton of items and never shipped it out...idk if he messed up or not...

eBay is NOT a niche. Duh!
No, but I marketed it through a niche (which I won't give out lol)

Well.... You have a 2.27 cents epc. Nothing to be happy about.
for me it is :)

I don't care about your 15 bucks, but if you're going to make a contest like this at least pay up. On second thought though it's probably better you keep it, it'll do you more good than me. Just don't post junk like this in the future just to sneak in a dirty link to your blog.

who is the victim when I smoke a joint

Depends on the source of the dope really.

Anyone caught in the crossfire of drug cartels would probably count as a victim though I guess that would apply more to cocaine and heroin (though plenty of weed comes out of Africa where there are also crime gangs who I presume aren't exactly model citizens).

They are victims of the legal status of certain products, not the act of someone consuming them.
