I watch this before I jog every morning. Been off them cigarettes and way healthier now.

My motivation tip:

Whenever you come across something that compels you into action, copy and paste it into a dedicated file. Like ~/Dropbox/motivation.txt.

Whenever you're a guilt-ridden lazy piece of shit watching Spongebob on a Saturday morning to procrastinate the grind, then pop open motivation.txt, shuffle the items, and read them one by one. As soon as one compels you, exit the document and get to work.

I've found lots of motivational nuggets in newbie journals from members like Staccs, Bofu2U, emp, thehobbster, CCarter, and other generous people that seem drawn to helping others.

But only draw from motivation.txt when you need it and when you have an outlet for your motivated energy. Else you'll familiarize the zeal out of its contents. And always be adding to it. On days when you just can't make magic happen and you're just trolling forums, then the least you can do is add another element to motivation.txt for a day that's less rainy.

This thread is now another motivational Youtube videos thread.

I watch this daily before I run. The "someday does not exist" worked for me.

I love this guy, it's like he has the worst form of ADHD and sniffs too much cocaine before his speeches.

That sounds like too much work

There is a good one on youtube has a line in it, "when you want to succeed as much as you want to breathe you will be successful."

There is also one where the dude is talking about squatting 800 pounds saying the only person who will save you is you or some shit.

I set up spy cams in Detroit and just watch 20 minutes of the footage for motivation.

Inspirational Running Video (HD) - YouTube

Who honestly runs in a hoodie? I have been a runner for 15 years and have never worn a hoodie when running. Even when its cold. It'd be like carrying a kid around the whole time, you'd get rashes from friction... just don't see it. Of course, I don't box either.

Eric Thomas The Hip Hop Preacher is who you're looking for. Fun Note: He did the voice over for the MLB playoffs in a commercial last night before the final round of the Home Run Derby.

I think I did back when I used to run in winter, try running with a t shirt on when your socks are wet and it's snowing like a motherfucker lol

Maybe you just don't have what it takes to look hard and tough while you run.

I wear a duster.
