I would say 30K per year is the best choice by doing yourself see u will not stop in 30K per year, your graph will go higher heights if you understand the business core what ever it may be.
People around you will blame when u leave the stable job, again they will praise when u r successful so don't bother, take the right decision and when u look after some years you should not feel "I should have done this 2 years back" shit yeah.

30k a year is more then the average person in the US makes isn't it?

isn't the average household income(two people)like 50k a year?

you know many "average" people running companies? fuckin telemarketer job (one step up from flippin burgers) pays 14 an hour lets do the math together...

14*40(hours in a week)*52(weeks in a year)= $29,120/year

Now here is why I made that statement. When you run your own company you pay higher taxes. When you work for someone else they pay 1/2 of your SSI so you only pay 7.5% instead of 15%. You also are now you're own accountant which means you need to devote time to getting your business taxes done if you don't want to get fucked by the man. You also don't have verifiable income. At least not the kind that will allow you to easily go out and get a loan on a house or a car for example. You don't have medical unless you come out of pocket for it.

30K/year is shit pay for running your own business. If you can't reasonably pull down close to 6 figures working for yourself you aren't ready to quit your day job. Its that simple. Keep investing and building your bankroll. When you've got 12 months living expenses saved up + a little money to invest in your biz and already have a good bit of money coming in on the side THEN make the leap.
