I'm visiting family in the Philippines for a couple of weeks. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience logging into various accounts (AdSense, Paypal, bank account, etc.). I assume there is some security feature that would suspend an account if it is logged in from a 3rd world country. Does anyone have any experience in this?

You shouldn't have any problems with any of the sites listed in my fairly extensive experience (including the country you're in) (mabuhay, heh). Of course "banking" depends on your bank and anything can happen in any case, but I've logged in across the globe and never had an issue with the standard stuff. The only problems tend to come from hypersensitive payment sites like Neteller or from sites that have geographically segmented content like hulu. Hab pun in de Pillapeenz.

You will have a problem if you are setting up new accounts. Never had a problem with accounts already setup.

I've had a few "please explain why you are logging in from a <3rd world country> IP"

But other than that its fine.

Same here. I also spend some time in the Philippines.

Paypal have given me a foreign IP alert and made me reset my password when logging in from the United States again after a trip to the Philippines, but they never disabled my account.

WellsFargo and Paypal both called me to verify charges on my debit cards when I was in Germany before, but never denied anything.

It might be a good idea to inform your bank of the trip ahead of time just to make sure they don't disable your card.
