90lbs of cocaine found on Mitch McConnells boat

Even in the days of Scarface or Miami Vice they weighed it by the kilo.

Miami what?

They probably reported the catch in lbs. because most American are ignorant about the weight of a kilo.

"Because AP style is primarily an American style standard, use of the imperial system of measurement is favored, although AP style does make allowances for the growing popularity of the metric system."

They would have gotten more mileage had they reported "360 Quarter Pounders Worth of Cocaine Found on Cargo Ship Owned By Anti-Drug Senator’s Family."

True, but I'm reminded of :

"when the A&W restaurant chain released a new hamburger to rival the McDonald’s Quarter Pounder. With a third-pound of beef, the A&W burger had more meat than the Quarter Pounder; in taste tests, customers preferred A&W’s burger. And it was less expensive...

...Misunderstanding the value of one-third, customers believed they were being overcharged. Why, they asked the researchers, should they pay the same amount for a third of a pound of meat as they did for a quarter-pound of meat at McDonald’s. The “4” in “¼,” larger than the “3” in “⅓,” led them astray.

jake & moxie -- what's so laughable is the younger segment of WF has no fucking idea what we're laughing at. Good stuff, gents.

It'd probably sound pretty similar to me telling you to shove a live turtle up your ass. Just a guess though.

Neither, you or wayne have contributed sweet fuck all to any discussion or thread on this forum.

the value i provide to this forum flies way over your head.

leaves little Matt pondering what's going on. so he figures "lol its a troll". The words in his head sound mesmerizing, so he must be right. He discovered poetry. He's not good at it, but convinced only he knows.

He makes a thread, vigorously spurting out his invention. anxious to read the reactions. He even drops subtle hints at making some money. But it doesn't happen. People tell him he sucks. But that can't be true. Right?

Right? ok, let's just pretend.

Only thing better than a Kiopa/wayn3 face-off is...

Fuck, I don't know. A retard boxing event? Midgets wrestling battle monkeys? Gay, generously oiled turtle love?

YOU decide.

I'm not sure how much a key of coke goes for wholesale in Europe, but you can generally pick one up that hasn't been stepped on in the US(California) for $10K-$20K. Unless the Chao family is rocking it up and selling it to end users, 40 kilos is kind of a peasant amount for people so fucking wealthy. I wouldn't be surprised if it was some enterprising crew members who are responsible.
