$95 million apartment in NYC

Ok I can't believe I'm the first one to mention this, but I think I'll pass on living in the tallest tower in NYC. That shit is just begging for a 767 to come and slice that bitch right in half. No thanks. Something below the skyline is where I'll stay.

I don't think it needs to be said as I'm sure it's crossed everyone's mind, plus Kumansk alluded to it in his post above.

I simply don't enjoy heights like that. It freaks me out. Never used to mind it when I was a kid, but as I've gotten older something changed in the wiring and now I get some serious vertigo being up too high.

Exactly. I can handle heights to a point, but that would really not sit well with me living at that altitude.

"That's cool and all...but does it have a BALCONY?" -Balcony brah

so its an inside job every day of the week for the last 13 years, but when its time to make excuses not to be able to afford something, its suddenly not anymore.

LoL, nobody is making any excuses smart ass. If you want to go live 1000+ feet off the ground on the 100th floor of some man made structure, be my guest. I encourage you to go put down your deposit. Maybe post a spoon pic previewing your new digs baller.

ps. I've never said it was an inside job.

View? $95 million to stare at a city skyline? meh, here's another view for you:

Even better, it's only about 45 mins down the road from you. You can get a gorgeous 2 storey, 2bdrm condo for just under $500k, and stare at that from your home office every day. Not to mention, having three world class ski resorts in your backyard doesn't hurt either. It was great. Have a rough day a work, no worries, spend the next day on the hill.

To each their own, but I'd prefer that instead.

Agreed 100% bro. I would much rather stare at mountains and blue skies, rather than some ugly grey skyline and light pollution.

I just don't get the appeal of noisy and crowded city living. I would much rather live in the country where I can count the stars on a clear night and listen to the sound of silence.

im actually really interested in knowing how the people who buy these types of apartments can afford it, or what they do

1 doubt it's $95million
2 no one is paying for it in full even if it's a fraction of that cost
3 there are plenty of people in business, entertainment, law, or investors that can easily put down enough to own it
