A Gangbanger from LA Fights Cops in Japan

It's also because Japanese people love & respect Americans too much.

If this was in China the guy would be sharing a 150 sq feet cell with 12 inmates right now.

when i lived in tokyo last year i saw a bunch of foreign dudes hitting police officers and running away. these people kept coming back and pushing the cops. there were lots of people watching and the small road was closed, but the cops seemed to take it in stride. they didn't even hit back at all. cultural differences? maybe they realize cops aren't supposed to be the bad guy.

also, cops stopped me and it turned out i was riding a stolen bike (though i bought it off craigslist). luckily they let me go get my passport/laptop so i could prove i bought it off craigslist. we got to the police station and there were 20 cops and me. one of them was able to speak english and they started to get what i was saying. that was when it became fun. it was almost like i was a cop trying to solve the crime...i was telling them everything i remembered about the guy who sold it to me while they wrote it down. at the end of the day they asked if they could take the bike back and give it back to the original owner. it was funny, because it seemed like they were asking if it was alright by me, they weren't demanding that i give the bike back.

He'd be dead in the usa or at a minimum tazered. He probably would complied tho with 8 guns pointing at him.
