That might of sounded a bit insulting but actually take his advice. There is no magic tool. Fuck, if it really told you what keywords are profitable then wouldn't you think everyone will just spend $90 to become a zuper duper affiliate?

The best "tool" you're gonna find is this forum. Just get use to the dicks and you'll find some nice info.

The flaming you're getting has little to do with you being cheap or thrifty. You're getting reamed because you seem to think that plopping down cash for a keyword research tool is the barrier between you being broke and becoming a "super affiliate".
The idea that everyone making money is doing so because they can afford to use Keyword Spy IS fucking retarded, not to mention COMPLETELY false. So yeah, you're gonna get your ass handed to you by a bunch of anonymous forum users because your priorities and ideas about success are completely ridiculous.
Go ahead and try it, I bet you'll be back here in a month whining about how Keyword Spy is a scam because you're still broke.
