This guy fucking nails it. It's a long read but worth it as he perfectly sums up every crummy date I have with American girls and why they act this way.

I actually find American girls better than girls in Toronto. More friendly, and they have more of a sense of humor, and better social skills. Toronto is pretty good in summer but the rest of the year the women suck because all the hot young ones end up going to school elsewhere during the school year leaving behind corporate women, and U of T and Ryerson girls(who tend to be socially awkward and not as hot).

But I see what the article is talking about. It just takes a quick trip to Montreal to realize that Anglo culture isn't the best for creating feminine women. I think Toronto might be one of the worst areas for this. Even the Southern US is better than Toronto(places like Charleston and Atlanta have more attractive, feminine, and friendlier girls).

Hell, the culture we live in isn't the best for women either. They are bombarded with all kinds of bullshit and behavorial expectations. Shows like Sex and the City, combined with feminist idealogy shoved down their throats, and being surrounded by weak ass dudes must make them go crazy.

I feel pity for the typical corporate Toronto women. I used to wonder why all the corporate women here had angry faces on(seriously, every single one on Bay st has that bitch face on). If you think about it, it actually makes complete sense.
 
What i find problematic is this all pervasing emptiness. The way they dress, behave, speak....there is no vibe, no energy, no sexual attraction. I look at them and think to myself "Well, they should turn me on right now, they got everything going for them..." ...but ... nothing. Then, a not so beautiful but more authentic girl comes along and i think "Well, i should not be attracted, but..."
 
She picked me up, and asked where we are going. Feeling completely uninspired, I told her it was her choice. So, like a good American girl, she suggested the movies.

A real powerful man ALWAYS leads, knows where he's taking her, pushes her from the back in the door, etc.

Women don't respect a man who doesn't do that.

I hate the word, "beta" "alpha" etc. But this is a PRIME example of being a beta.

If you're not confident in your actions and words, you can't hate on women for leaving you, not showing interests, or generally not giving a shit about being attracted to you.

Here's the real deal. If you haven't been even SLIGHTLY nervous approaching a woman, then you aren't picking them right. Overall a good article although generalizing about ambitious Type A NY/SF/LA type women.

This part is interesting. I see much more of this in China, Singapore, Bangkok etc. As well as in parts of SAmerica like Medellin. NYers will at least throw something from a thrift store on as well if it fits their outfit. I doubt any moneyed woman in Bangkok would do that.
 
C'mon, the article wasn't THAT bad. The dude was just talking about HIS experiences with American women. Yes, he over generalized.

But he also made some great points about how guarded and distant women are becoming emotionally. I see it everyday. I see sarcasm becoming the default attitude of many women. I see entitlement. I see the air-headed bitchiness.

And he was dead on about attraction becoming like a game of chess.

It shouldn't be that way.

But that's what happens when both men and women's dating advice, TV shows, and movies preach manipulative tactics instead of emotional transparency in regards to seduction (I'll admit, I've helped contribute to the bullshit in a small way).

But you also have to ask yourself - WHY was he going on multiple dates with these bitches? As soon as he realized they weren't his type, he should have just politely bounced instead of continuing to play head games with them. He was just as bad in a way.

In the end, dating is all about finding your target market. It's about defining what you like in a woman (or a man, I know there's a lot of self-proclaimed cock mongers here), what kind of women like you, and figuring out where they kick it at.

Sort of like driving highly targeted traffic to an offer.

Only when they convert, you blow a load.
 
While this author is generalizing a bit, women do act this way sometimes. If a girl and I like each other mutually, the expectation I have is that there will be comfortable physical contact within an hour or two.

This guy shouldn't have even bothered going on more than one date with her.
