Just did a little experiment to check the response times on a few different acai products when you called their phone numbers to cancel. Figured it may be of use for those of you trying to operate with as few complaints as possible.
All call centers said they were open.

Power 500/Extreme - Call picked up by person after 2 minutes, 30 seconds on hold.

Supreme
-
Time #1 - Call immediately hung up
Time #2 - Call immediately hung up
Time #3 - Busy signal
Time #4 - Call imediately hung up

Maxx
- Voicemail, instructed to email them

Noni
-
Time #1 - "All Circuits Are Busy, Please try your call later"
Time #2 - "...silence"
Time #3 - "All Circuits Are Busy, Please try your call later"
Time #4 - Busy signal

Ultimate
- Same number as Supreme, so presumably the same outcome.

Vital -
Annoying female version of Microsoft Sam yaps at me. Then on hold. Jazz music starts out pretty good. Then it got worse. Still on hold. Now it's not even Jazz. After 10 minutes on hold without even a supportive recorded voice to assure me, I give up.

Berry Blast - Quick menu, then hold for 1 minute, 15 seconds, then real human

Remember kids, 'mo pissed off consumers 'mo problems

I had to test a pixel for a media buy the other day so I purchased a supreme trial.

I ordered the Friday before thanksgiving and it arrived today. Product looks good and legit, and decently packaged.

I called today, to Supreme, was put on hold for 10 minutes before an rep answered.

She asked me my name and order # (she did however tell me my name was sexy, I think it must be because my last name is Adcock - and she likes the cock), and canceled the order. She never asked me to stay.

I actually thought the process went pretty easily.

I was able to talk to a person on supreme after exactly 42 minutes on hold and 4 dropped calls while holding :).

There's no way this is coincidental.

I recently found out a woman in my office purchased Acai
....."it was from Oprah"

Anyway, she received a bottle of pills, a blister pack of Hoodia gum (???) and some eye dropper bottle of 'Hoodia drops'. The invoice was $0 for the pills, $29 for the 'drops' and $19 for the pack of gum. Total bill was nearly $50.

She also told me there was "nothing on Oprah's website that said she would be billed monthly for it".

She promptly repackaged it and sent it back per their instructions.

The whole "it was from Oprah" statement made my stomach turn. Especially since she claims her husband is a web designer.

I think this just opens them up to charge backs which could eventually lead to them loosing their merchant account. I know that happened to a company I was working with. They had crap support which would lead to alot of customer complaints and charge backs which then caused the merchant account to close them up. Luckily they had a backup.

wow, p500 must have hired some people bc the last i read about them on ripoffreports.com it was a lot longer then a 2.5 minute wait.

Can you imagine how much it would suck to work in that call center. I bet almost every person is calling pissed off.

They prob can afford it now since they're one that caps realllly quickly.

The Hoodia gum and the eye dropper bottle of Hoodia drops are from Acai Pure. It's a VERY CLEAR checkbox that is to the right of the form you enter your info on (on the second page). It's amazing how many people actually check it after reading ripoff report on acai pure. I think it's a pretty impressive upsell tbh.
