How great is Adderall?

I only take it every now and then because it gets me pretty wired and jumpy, but holy shit, I can write a fucking novel on it! And look, I swear even more, if that's possible.

We need a lightning round today..

I pop NoDoz like like tic tac's, sometimes its hard fopr me to it behind a computer screen all day and stay awake. Tell me more about this Adderall you speak of.

I do have ADD, but when you take Adderall, especially when you're not naturally hyperactive, it makes you really wired and jumpy, but in a controlled good way. It lasts for about 6-8 hours depending on how big your dosage is. I have them prescribed because I use it every now and then when I have a lot of boring work to do that I have been putting off for a while. Pop one in the morning, and you are good all day.

It does take away your appetite, and if you plan on working out while on it, you may want someone to be around, because you can definitely have some type of breathing issue. I'm pretty sure this stuff has some form of Speed in it, because if you take it too late in the day, you won't be able to sleep.

Honestly, I wish I had this when I was in school. I would have focused a hell of a lot better, and definitely would have tried harder without getting so overly bored. I think there are something like 10 million Americans on it, mostly kids and college kids, but if you have ADD like most people here do, then you can definitely get it. I recommend it to everyone.

PS - if you are a writer of some sort, this is definitely a wonder drug for you. You can literally write a fucking novel on this without stopping. Thank god for meds!
 
Adderall...

Well things have changed. When I was diagnosed with A.D.D. it was in 1995. I was a 6th grader. They had a machine they sat me at that beeped ever so often and every time it did I had to press a button. I got bored after about a half hour and started spinning in my chair in between beeps...this led them to believe they needed to put me on 4 pills twice a day. I was CRACKED OUT OF MY MIND all during school.

First and second period I wouldn't talk to anyone and sat still...in a daze. By third period the pills would wear off and I would be out of control. It was like someone let me out of a cage. I got kicked out of that class just about every day. People who had me in first and second period probably wondered what the HELL my problem was.

At lunch time I had to pop 4 more....4th and 5th period...ZOMBiE...6th and 7th...Out of control. I eventually stopped taking them and got kicked out of high school.

I love how schools promote the D.A.R.E. program and all that madness...and then give kids CRACK PILLS if they aren't interested in the petty lessons they sometimes teach in school. "DRUGS ARE BAD! DONT USE DRUGS TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS...unless your problem is distracting my class...."

Okay, my A.D.D. has caused me to yammer on...Ciao.

I've never tried adderall, but I have taken a LOT of no-doz and Ive been told they generally do the same things (energy, but in a controlled way). I once took too many no-doz at once and felt like my heart was about to come out of my chest it was beating so hard and fast (took around 8-10 of them at once). Ill never make that mistake again...

speaking of no-doz, im off to the store :)
 
My chemistry is ass backwards.

I broke my back a few years ago and was on morphine for quite some time. Id take that shit and I was zingin, writing novels and talking till my jaw got sore. Other people take opiates and its like they are half dead :?

It's highly addictive and just as bad as smoking crack!

Adderall is legal. It has some speed in it too. Girls love it because you lose a ton of weight because it curbs your appetite. Guys love it because like Cocaine, you can fuck for hours without stopping. I like it, because I tend to get a lot of shit done that I wouldn't have otherwise. More productivity means more money.
