to get adderall legally you have to see a psychiatrist. usually that involves first going into some type of therapy and getting a referral.
i can't say that's always true, but it was true for several people i know who now have addie scripts.

i saw my GP, asked for adderall, he said I had to go to a psych.. he set up the appt, I went, took an absolute BS subjective ("on a scale of 1-10, how bored are you at work") ~100 question exam, he said I had ADHD five minutes later (graded it on the spot). he asked me to come back weekly for a few months, i said i'd call him to set something up. i never intended to, and didn't. he sent results over to GP. GP continues to write scrips for it a year+ later.

and to other poster, yeah it probably does have long term effects but right now it's enabling me to stack cash. i'll worry about the bad parts later

we then talked a bit, i have to go for a blood test, and if i pass that (to check if there's any problems with my heart and blood pumping blah blah) then I get the script.
i did however already have ritalin prescribed to me in the past, and add diagnosed over 3 doctors or some shit, so it's visibly in my file. Ritalin sucked compared to this stuff, at least in my experience.

oh, i should mention that i do have to get semi-regular EKGs (every time we change dosages and every few months otherwise) to make sure my heart doesn't asplode.
You young guys are just insane. You will regret that shit later, trust me. The truth may hurt but if you need that shit to get motivated and feel good, you have serious issues.

I have a book (can't remember whats its called off the top of my head, but it is the Authority on drugs) that explains how it is actually pretty normal. Humans inherently have an infatuation with altering ones consciousness. Even from an early age.

I do agree that abusing drugs is extremely destructive though
acutally i asked my neurologist about this in very frank fashion.
if you takea breaks now and then and don't go over a reasonable dose youll be fine neurologically.
issues start when you don't seleep ever, dont eat, or take massive doses (pointless imo, tolerance is very rapidly acquired and adderall is a less-is-more substance. large doses give me a headache anyways ... like, 30mg or more at once of IR.)
i dunno, i have overall mixed feelings on it to be honest. i get 90x20 a month. it works better than nothing and im a fucking loon so i take the help where i can get it.
i dont know much avbot getting high from it. it keeps you awake for sure, amkes other drugs possible. recommend party on someting else. also recommend fi you want it, see a neurologist not a shrink.

back on topic adderall is amazing, but must be used in moderation. A good friend of mine from high school pretty much grew up on prescription pills being in a family of doctors, and since i have known her as always been wired on adderall.
well just last year she tried to kill herself. so take anything in moderation.
addy is very powerful. take that shit and do work. eat sleep and exerciser well. don't take 60mg every day and zone out to trance music or you'll end up like jon.
