Adsense Change?

I've been noticing something a little strange the last couple of day, my adsense impressions are through the roof like 3x what they used to be. It doesn't match up with my analytics data and there is also no noticable increase in revenue.

Have they made it so that individual ad units now record an impression each? (e.g a site with three adsense ad units will display 3 impressions). If not, any other explanations?

Couldn't find anything on the adsense blog about it...
 


I had some crazy numbers on impressions in the last 2 days, but earning actually are lower... maybe too early to call, I hope its not a trend...

Mixture of aussie + international.

I'm talking about crazy differences e.g 3x what I usually see which is why I was wondering about it double or triple counting the same impression.

E.g one site usually gets around 50k impressions/day and it's currently showing at 120k/impressions for the day yet analytics shows it at 40k for the day so far.
 
Did you change, add or remove ad units on these sites recently? I misread your op at first, I had a rise in impressions around same time for my au sites but all accounted for.
 
I had some strange adsense numbers yesterday, now it looks like back to normal, one site usually has 250-300 impressions by day had well over 1,000 and another that is static had like 350, today the stats are very much like the average - it seems there was something wrong yesterday.
 
As somebody who refreshes my stats way more than is totally sane, I have seen a lot of fits and starts over the last couple of days. It reminds me of the delays we had when they pushed in v3 for everybody.

So I'm in with.....reporting delays.

That said, my RPMs (or whatever they call it now) can vary wildly from day to day with no obvious reason. Today I'm already well over yesterday's 24 hour mark. But yesterday was far under Tuesday. Part of it is random, but these are some pretty big swings. So who knows if part of yesterday's is getting counted today, though that doesn't really seem likely to me.
