I feel ya, and feeling like a dick also. This is kind of ridiculous. In the past there were always abundant free silver passes to be had, and I know of people who got free gold and platinum (and they underage, no less).
ASE clearly needs a bigger venue, and the lack of access has me feeling more than a bit sour towards them at the moment. My immediate problem is I really need to meet clients at the show. And I truly and sincerely have fun attending the floor show.
I have already signed up for ad:tech NY at the Javits Center and looking forward to it. No fee, no hassle and they don't set affiliates at each other's throats for an entry pass.
