Kind of in the same situation. Anyway, I suggest that you pursue other relationships. Things will never be the same between the two of you. People change, especially after a long period of time. There are many fish in the sea, and you should explore it. :)

It never will be the same. When it happened to me, I tried my ass off. Never really got close.

Find a new girl, someone who's truly compatible with you, and go that route.
 
First off un-friend her on FB so you can't look at her profile. De-friend anyone whom may have her as a friend so you don't see her picture.
