Adwords Question?

I'm just wondering, to those people who use adwords. Would you consider "
The definite guide to Google Adwords" abit out of date. Iv still got a copy from a while ago. I read through it but decided not to enter the world of Adwords at the time.
I want to re-read it and I wondered if its still worth reading or if there is something better out there.
Also what do people think about Google Assasin?
