After Tonight's LOST (Spoiler Alert)

Meh, I enjoyed S1 and S2, S3 wasn't that good and I only saw a few episodes of S4 before I turned it off for good. Maybe it got better after that but for me it just got too ridiculous.

I try and steer clear of serious tv programs because I tend to get bored after a few series, same happened with Dexter.

Cool story, bro.

Cool misuse of meme, bro.

I like the genie theory.

But btw, Lost could redefine "purgatory" to be a semi-physical place that even the living can visit. They don't need to stick to traditional definitions of this stuff.

Is anyone else disappointed with the way LOST is going?(I kinda skimmed through the thread as I don't like spoilers) It kinda reminds me of when you're watching a really great movie and all of the sudden the last 20 minutes are on speed as if the producers suddenly realized their overbudget and need to wrap this up and throw together a quick hack of crappy ending. That's what this feels like. It's like CBS said you've only got 8 episodes left, WRAP THIS BITCH UP.

I stopped watching LOST years ago, it's all just so massively random it's stupid. Nothing properly explained, taking 10 episodes to get shit done, total wank.

'Spartacus blood and sand' for the win.

The more I watch season 6 the more I am lost. Every episode is so damn confusing.

You can pretty much watch season 1 & 2 and skip to season 6.

The real test will be the finale. If everything makes sense afterwords from all the previous seasons then it will be ok.

But on another note we're really starting to close off a Golden Age of TV Shows. There was a time about 5 yrs ago when there was just an amazing array of shows to watch.. many which were like movie theater quality every week.

yeah that's probably why you're so damned confused...

Explain to me how season 3,4,5 are related to season 6. Season 3, 4, 5 are mostly about DHARMA Initiative and time travel bullshit.

Since you are not confuse. Care to explain why there are two world/timeline? Why the fuck is Widmore on the island? Is Widmore on Locke's side or Jacob's side? Can the man in black deliver the promises to all the people he recruited or is he just lying? What is stopping the man in black to leave the island by himself since jacob is dead now. Why can't he just kill the candidates? What is with that little kid sawyer and mib saw? Every single episode of season 6 left so many questions unanswered.

You forgot the shield, the only show where the last season was the best season, and all other seasons were great.

PB fell off after mid S3, but yeah good plot for s1, sad really id like to see the creators do another show where the title doesnt strain them.

Lost is the best show ever made, hands down - not sure how you can even argue it.

"I WAAAAAAANTTTT TO LIVEEEEEEEE"

The entire episode was supposed to show that they're NOT in hell and NOT dead. Pay attention, damn.

As I stated if this were Biblical, it'd be some sort of purgatory in which they wouldn't be "dead" yet...just dead from the real world. Again if it's Biblical, God/Jacob would theoretically have the power to send them back to the real world (possibly because they're not condemned as going to Heaven/Hell yet) to do something.

All I'm saying is you can make sense out of them being "dead". The main characters all survive a plane crash and land somewhere between the world and Hell and they're not dead? Richard is walking out to be hanged and then somehow he ends up on a ship that crashes on the island? It could make sense that they all did die.

Locke also turns into the smoke monster which is basically a smoke snake...the Devil turns into a serpent. Richard's wife was condemned to Heaven/Hell which would explain why Jacob can't bring her back.

I guess the genie idea could make sense too.

If you turn on CBS to watch the finale there's a good chance you'll be rather disappointed lol.

Stop torturing yourselves and go read the lostpedia spoiler forums. Information up to the next to last episode has been out for a month now.

Fuck that.

Reminds me of a friend that used to read the last few pages of a book first and then read the rest of the book. WTF? She might as well have told me she ate babies, I was that appalled.

I look at it like this... I could be hit by a bus today and die. Then all of that time watching LOST would have been for nothing. I'm not going to die without knowing how it ended dammit.
