I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but will reviewing Alexa today, I noticed they now link to sell tshirts with whatever domain name you are looking at on them.

For examples: Related Info for: google.com/

Is anyone else bothered by the fact someone can buy shirts with our domains on them without any of us receiving squat?

Yeah I saw that yesterday. I guess there are probably some trademark laws that this violates, but really I'd be much happier with someone buying a shirt that gets me some publicity.

I mean, as it stands, any schmuck can make a CafePress shirt with nearly anything on it if they want.

If I saw someone wearing a shirt with one of my domains, I'd go up and shake their hand. WTF is wrong with free advertising?

Nothing if you're a small site owner. Now if you're a large online brand it could be a different story.

Yup. I I'm sure no one would ever want to own a tshirt with one of my domains, and if they did, I think it would be a great thing. However, I guess I'm bothered by the fact Alexa is profiting through affiliate marketing by using other people's domain names. I guess there is just something fundamentally wrong with that that is bothering me.

Yet, at the same time...I can't help but think of a variation of this idea that is sure to make me some money...
