The new owners are now working hard to get the licensing system and website back up and running. Once this is done all current users will have their license transferred to the new system and will be able to get access to these new updates and bug fixes.

And if anyone has any suggestions for new features can post them here too. as im subscribed to this thread.

I do have the couple of bugfixes listed at the moment from here which is

1. new domains creation needs to check the account names of previous accounts first toi ensure it doesnt make the same name
2. when creating subdomains the system adds /domain before the subdomain folder which means it doesnt work properly.

Any other issues fire them over and ill try to ensure they are all dealt with in the first new release.

I've also bought xmarkpro a long time ago, but never got it working well and gave up at one time.

and in all honesty i did half expect the client list to get used by matt for envrin as well.

i did expect to actually get the customer list though.

Forgot to add above that im waiting on any of the current payments to be transferred to me also. paypal is all still going to you.

As for making long term client relationships. Do you recall when we discussed you making additions and updates for me to xmarkpro as you know the system so well.

These are details that should have minimally been contractually laid out before you sent payment, not to state the obvious. Establishing that I would be getting the customer list (current and old) would have been one of the first things that I would have made sure prior to buying.

Yep it all kinda was.

just going from previous experience with these kinds of things the prewvious owners normally do want to market to all these people too. im not gonna hold that against anyone so long as it isnt a competing product.

But yes your right i should have really stipulated everything including a completion date as such.

To be honest with a system this complex its a bit of a learning experience for me also.

I didnt know at the time that i would need a document detailing uses of certain tables within the site structure bits. but that was clear as time went on.

Matt has been much betetr for the last week now with his responses and i have 90% of everythign i need to be able to get the whole system runnign as i would like it to.

And also a big part of the reason for wanting to buy this system was to use as a basis for all the ideas we had internally here for stuff we do on a daily basis that could be automated and be really valuable as a service for other people.

The seo module on its own is massively complex but already half completed in terms of code. i just need to move this across to the xmark setup in terms of folders etc and i think that would be a massively valuable plugin for everyone.

At any rate we are getting close to completing this now and when it is done i hope i can make Xmarkpro everyones default choice for site and SEO management.

Sure, there's a contract. Please note, this was TOTALLY blown out of proportion, and should have never happened. Really, this is just another typical, boring, small business deal. Nothing exciting.
