I heard AdSense isn't the highest paying one around, but I haven't had any info on better ones?

AdSense looks the best with all the tools and how it's from Google etc, but is there a better one?

There is a ton of different alternatives out there, Google it and start testing out some of the other alternatives so that you have a backup just in case google decides to put the ban hammer on your account.

Well you can use CB or CPA as an alternative. But then you will have to setup a site targeting a CB product/CPA offer only. For any monetization method other than adsense, You can't just setup like ANY kind of page and throw links. So you would be better of going with a CPA/CB product if you don't have adsense rather than wasting time on adsesne alternatives.
