Amazing Speech By War Veteran

and the un weapons inspectors did go in. guess what they found.

Of course they found nothing. There was plenty of time to move it while they were putting up their bogus negotiations. Plus Republicans and Democrats alike both agreed that Saddam was seeking nuclear weapons. In fact, in 2002 Senator John Kerry himself said that there is no doubt that Saddam is seeking nuclear weapons. Bill Clinton made a similar claim.

A threat is a threat. And do you know how you find out if it's an empty one dumb shit? You go in and find out.

Which is what we did you stupid fuck. And like godfly said, what did we find? NOTHING.

Hmm..so after finding absolutely nothing, what then? Invade a country because some cowardly asshole made a threat, which we knew couldn't be carried out?

And speaking of which, 100k kurds died by saddam. How many innocent iraqis were killed due to our occupation?

Seriously, go fuck a cow you stupid kid.

A threat is a threat. And do you know how you find out if it's an empty one dumb shit? You go in and find out. You don't sit back and wait for it. Sadam said he would have found a way. This is the same Sadam that killed 100k Kurdish villagers w/ gas. You don't sit back right after 9-11 and hope that an enemy like this isn't going to fulfill his threats. He could have done what he was told, but instead decided to play games. So we hung is dumb ass.

We need to root these bastards out at the source, instead of waiting until they've already lit their damn jihadist skivvies in a plane full of people. Or until they've lobbed a gas filled skud at one of our allies. Or infiltrated one of our own military bases w/ one of their own recruits to kill our soldiers. Or ram our naval vessels w/ speedboats full of explosives.

- and by the way, the original OP brought up 911 first not me.

Gas that we gave him to counter Iranians . . . Did you forget he was our buddy in the 70s and 80's?

The soldier had a good point up until the last minute when it suddenly turned into a tirade on class warfare. Capitalism and the pursuit of profit are not the cause of pointless wars. It's the government, which has the power to tax all of us profit-creators and squander it on senseless violence, which is the source of pointless wars.

Who controls the government's agenda? The powerful people do. How do they get powerful? With money. Where does the money come from? Capitalist pursuits of profit.

It's just a shell game.

No one said 9-11 was caused by iraqis moron. But 9-11 was cause for us to take a more preemptive stance on those that would wish us ill will. And Sadam even said before being hung, that if we had let him alone, he'd have found a way to make us suffer.

Geez you must have gone to the same school as the moron that decided to give these terrorists their miranda rights.

So from your posts here, I'm feeling a bit threatened and worried you might do something to cause harm to this great republic. Should the government feel the same way and label you a terrorist, they can come get you, put you in hole, keep you for as many years as they want, and it would all be legal and not a damn thing you or your family could do about it.

That is the real lesson being taught here.

I'm so glad I'm out of the army. Shooting guns was fun for the first 3 minutes, after that it became boring.

Actually a conceived threat wouldn't be determined by you. It would be determined by the intelligence community. Now there might be a perceived threat from people like you - but only because your ignorance of history (if given a chance to spread) will doom us to repeat it.

Yes absolutely. We were helping him to protect himself from people at the time that were even crazier than him. There's no way to predict when an "evil dictator" will become an "evil dictator". You have to trust them to do the right thing, and then hang their ass when they don't. That's what we did. We thought he would help us stabilize the region against the crazy advances of the Iranians. He did that, but he also then committed genocide against his own Countrymen.

Are you trying to say that just because we supported him at one time, that he's not a genocidal tyrant? We also supported Osama Binladen. Would you suggest that we leave him alone as well? Let's get your crazy ass stance on this out in the open.

Except that Iraq was largely the protagonist in the Iran-Iraq war?

Have you ever heard the phrase "The Road to Jerusalem Goes through Karbala,"? That was a popular phrase of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps during the war. They had it posted on billboards and posters everywhere. Since we are a pro-Israel country, we made the mistake of arming Saddam to fight off the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. We protected Israel, but in turn enabled an evil man.

So I suppose you're one of those 9-11 conspiracy theorists? My only suggestion to you would be to wipe that koolaid mustache off before heading back to class junior.

From the responses you gave in this thread, it looks like you believe everything that comes out of the back side of "authority". Learn to think for yourself and question things.

Incidentally, with your possible reference to Hitler: He used the Reichstag fire which is a false flag to create an reaction, which again is fear, fear of the Communists (and conceived threats) to bring about his regime. Stop being duped left right and centre.

Yes, there are some points which I don't agree with him in the end. Like losing a job for a company's profit.

I don't have to believe everything that comes out of the back side of "authority". I've lived most of this history myself. And I've taken up the task of educating myself on any history I haven't lived from every possible angle I can get my hands on.

Now I will agree that there have been times in history where fear has been used as a tool of submission. However, not every scenario is a conspiracy of fear mongering. There are some scenarios that actually call for fear. Fear keeps your awareness heightened. There really are people out there that would prefer westerners to be dead. And putting out real information on these harmful intentions can not be called a conspiracy of fear mongering. No matter how many hippy left wing talking points you choose to regurgitate.

And by the way I don't believe I referenced Hitler, so you can save that talking point for later.:2drinkspit:
