It's pretty easy to see who's who by watching JVZoo.com - Instant Commission Platform for Sellers and Affiliates - you quickly see that it's the same core group turning up the heat on a regular basis.

One of the things that impresses me most is that people will actually buy the $7 crap only AFTER they've asked to ensure that there is an OTO behind it for $47 or whatever. Generally some borderline-useless or already-existing WordPress plugin.

also most of the bigger guys have moved on from clickbank... but some guys still process 8 figs a year there i'm sure
 
I don't know this new breed of guru. In fact, I've missed a few generations. But I do know a lot of the older guys and their numbers.

Grindstone is more on the mark than most of the folks in this thread. But for big-ticket products, including seminars, the numbers for the A-list go way higher. At least, that was the case years ago. This new breed may be something altogether different.
 
For the record, I don't knock anyone hustle and I'll be the last to cast stones.

Like someone said what's the difference between fake screen shots, fake tax returns and 'real' weight loss pics.

Matt, I've seen $79 front-ends with average values of ~$800. I think that was same-day and not counting recurring. Could be either; who cares.

Throw your math out entirely; a launch like the video in the OP could pull a full million rev within the first week; 50-85% for affiliates after 15-20% refunds.

Obviously not including shady Utah shit or remarketing...
 
Video says no banner ads, no ppc, no ppv, and uses free traffic from certain sites. He certainly does not look like the SEO type. So...

This guy posts clickbank offers to craiglists.

These dudes do ridiculous volume. I'm very connected in the WaFo scene, and trust me when I tell you that $1MM launches are NOT few and far between.

Some of the biggest IMers use fake aliases on WaFo, launch a WSO, connect with Lantz for WSO of the Day, just to split test their shit with copy/pricing. If all goes well and is normal, then the email blasts start.
