Look's like a great service for anyone doing serious volume.... Can basically scale to any size at any time, and probably never have downtime.

Anyone using em?

wa sknow as 'mosso'.

was a complete and utter gigantic bag of shit. Buggy java nodes, crap infrastructure, the world's most uncaring support and worst documentation.

Probably still is, hence the name change to try and hide from the reams of bad press over the last 2 years.

Although they did refund me.

if you decide to try it, good fucking luck.

I'm using cloud hosting at a new company, who were quite bad at the beginning but now they have pretty stable cloud hosting.

All I hear everywhere is that cloud hosting is unreliable right now, even az amazon and mosso.

I use them as my investors run the hosting, and they have gotten it to a good reliability now.

no good.. just hype.. growing problems.. stick to what works or try and use amazon's service (would need to build the platform from the ground up)

mosso sucks (eg. employees of m***o breaking into your scripts)

We were investigating cloud hosts 2-3 months ago. We decided there were no good true-cloud solutions, so we're using Amazon EC2 servers and managing them ourselves. It's more like lots-of-tiny-VPS, and less like "automagic heavenly wonderbox", but there's some serious bang for our buck and definite potential to scale "huge" (if we need to, and if we have ~one hour warning).
