Anybody Else get a Mash Invite?

Incase you hadn't heard Mash is going to be Yahoo's Facebook, MySpace social network. Boring and the same, yet different because other users edit your profile not just yourself.

That's cool but obviously has some crawbacks. Just in case somebdy pwns you yahoo allows you the option of limniting who can edit your page.

in my email I noticed I received an invite from some a technorati top 50 bigwig last week and that it expires in a few days. Pretty rocking but the thing is I don't have a yahoo id even more I don't feel like creating one.

Anyway anybody here on Mash? Any screenshots? opinions? etc... After this post I think i'll go and check the profile. I just hate having to create account just to view something. One of the reasons I skipped Facebook, orkut and a few forums etc...

Yahoo has already failed at delivering a good product with their 360 social network. I've got no reason to believe they'll do any better with something else.

Facebook seems to be gaining a LOT of steam - I started slow a few weeks ago but have recently found dozens of friends and colleagues up there.
