Anyone know how to resume a .part downloaded file in FF

I am downloading a file of 800mb, net, but i had to go to sleep. so i paused the download @ 600mb. next day i see that the 600 file is a ".part" file in FF.
I searched and searched, how can i resume this so that i only have to download the balance 200mb?

I tried this out Is there a way to resume a firefox download - Club MyCE post #6, but still no use

This is the best download plugin out there. It does some crazy shit like being able to download whole webpages and all its parts. But where it will really help you is it breaks up the downloads (kinda like a torrant) into smaller chunks. I found it at least 3 or 4 times faster than a normal Firefox Download. I am not sure if it can salvage the file you partially downloaded but if you use that plugin probably take the same amount of time it takes to get that last 200 mb

Three options; Use one or a combination.
1. unpause / resume the download by clicking the pause / play button in your history.
2. check temp directory for completed download file (by size) with .part name.
3. do it again but with plugin or manager that can resume connections
