Anyone Play WOW



I won't even look at that fucking game. I have buddies who play and I tell them to keep that shit away from me. It's bad enough i get hooked on the latest GTA game every year, I sure as hell don't have the time to play WOW until 4am every morning.
 
WOW is a huge waste of time. Oh, and for people who like penis. Play COD4 for 15 - 20 minutes and blow some people's faces off. Then back to PPC and SEO.
 
played for 2 years. Got to 78 in the new xpac and said fuckit and didnt continue to 80. It is a huge timekiller.
 
I got into IM actually because I started to play some cracked out game called Entropia and was convinced that i could make money on the internet by playing video games. Well a few thousand dollars in deposits later, I saw the light and wrote an eBook teaching people 'how to make money playing entropia'

I just about made back what I put in, and then Joined the ultimate MMORPG (which is the game we all play now)
 
Fuck no -- ain't paying monthly just to play a fuckin' video game

I play counter-strike, shoot the mother fuck for 20 mins, then I get back to work.

Game is nothing like WoW or other traditional mmorpgs, main difference is probably the fact that a big portion of the game is on the water voyaging/discoveries/treasure hunting/sea battling

Also this game is really easy to lvl up in, its basically meant as a pvp game with city seiges and guild wars.

its free to play also...theoretically but to be strong tons of IM is needed, aint gunna front on that!

Almost tempted to boot up my mac in PC mode to play this game. What is the learning curve like?

And lost MANY years of my life to wow... won't touch that game ever again.

To everyone saying WoW is for fags or whatever else - just because you don't like it, doesn't mean other people don't enjoy it. To each their own and some people enjoy MMORPGs. I used to think the same way and made fun of my friends who played, but then I started to play and really enjoy it. I don't play anymore than a few nights a week for a couple hours at a time, but it's a nice way to unwind and beats sitting in front of the TV.

Also, there's no better way to monetize WoW than actually knowing the game and being able to build websites around certain aspects of the game (gold, raiding, leveling, etc) and people know I know what I'm talking about. Monies FTW.

Anyway, I saw someone mention Darkfall. It looks interesting but lots of people say it sucks. I might try it out anyway... ;)
