I don't want to ruin anything, in case some people haven't seen it yet... but the finale was BADASS. My stupid ass read some spoilers two weeks ago, so I knew what was going to happen, but that didn't change my enjoyment level one bit.

On a side note, the folks at ABC used PRunderground to issue a press release for their new Dharma site Octagon Global Recruiting. Which means I can officially die happy :)

They almost melted my server too... right after the finale ended their release had over 30,000 views in one hour. It's just now starting to slow down. Check out Google's hot trend chart for "octagon global recruiting". We're #1 on the news article listings...

And they went the cheap route and submitted a free release, which means my Adsense ads were in the release.

So in closing, I'd like to thank ABC for the awesome LOST finale and the huge jump in my earnings tonight. lol
 


That was messed up. They're about to be rescued and they get blown out of the water by a soviet submarine. I was so pissed.
 
man. i watched it with a group of people, and this one fucker had spoilers. he actually said "eh, i already read what happens, its going to be..." spoiler.

it was a good show though. i answers the "why is ben in the desert with a parka in 2005" question. That rocks.
 
I'm guessing it's no coincidence that the dates on that site are the same dates for ComicCon.

Just watched the finale. Awesome.

It's off and on. I've enjoyed the journey, and they've introduced some neat characters like Ben, whom I’ve mentioned above, but it's not at all the same as the first season. They haven't been able to completely enthral me like they did the first season. I think they've even jumped the shark a few times, but, I do enjoy the show, and TIVO every episode. I'd say it's the best thing on network TV at the moment.

I've never followed Lost as serials tend to lose my interest pretty quickly -- not really a TV watcher, so actually setting aside time to watch episode after episode because if I miss a couple I'll be totally, uh, 'lost' as to what's going on, is just not my thing.

So, having not watched it, but seen a blurb about it on another show, can anyone explain to me briefly what the deal is with the whole "he turned a wheel and the island disappeared" thing?

The season finale was awesome this season... totally fucked up! ... and I hate spoilers but my wife always has to read them.. I don't know why people like to take the element of surprise out of things, oh well.
